What is Consigned PCB Assembly?

The difference between consigned PCB assembly and “turnkey assembly” is that the consigned PCB assembly is a mixed model. The customer provides the design of the PCB and assembly parts, and then our PCBA manufacturers assemble them.
There are two types of consigned PCBA: full-consigned and partial-consigned.
Full-consigned means you provide the PCB design and all the parts and components required for assembly, and the manufacturer will assemble it.
Partial-consigned assembly means you provide the PCB design and some components or core chips, and the manufacturer purchases the remaining components required to assemble the PCB.
